The Camp On The Bayou – Campground Rules Welcome to Camp On the Bayou! To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, please take a moment to review our campground rules:
1. Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. Please be respectful of nearby residents during this time by keeping noise levels to a minimum.
2. Campfires
- Campfires are NOT allowed
3. Pets
- Pets are welcome but must remain on a leash at all times.
- Please clean up after your pets and dispose of waste properly.
- Be mindful of other guests and wildlife when walking your pets.
4. Wildlife
- Please respect the local wildlife. Do not feed or approach animals.
- Store food securely to avoid attracting wildlife to your campsite.
5. Trash & Recycling
- Help keep the bayou beautiful!
- Do not leave trash or food scraps out at your campsite.
- No dumping allowed. Please take your trash with you as you go.
6. Alcohol
- Responsible alcohol consumption is permitted.
- Please dispose of any empty containers properly and respect the bayou.
7. RV, Car, and Tent Setup
- Please park and set up in your designated spot only.
- Be mindful of your space to respect the privacy of local residents.
8. Respect the Environment
- Stick to marked trails and paths to protect the natural habitat.
- Leave no trace—please pack out what you pack in.
9. Check-Out Time
- Check-out is by 11 AM. Please ensure your campsite is clean and free of any personal belongings before departing.
10. Emergency Contact
- In case of emergencies, call the Camp On the Bayou staff at 985-306-2959 or dial 911 for urgent situations.
