Release of Liability & Waiver Agreement

By booking a stay at Camp on the Bayou, you (“Guest”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Assumption of Risk

I understand that camping, glamping, and related outdoor activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to risks of injury, illness, property damage, accidents, encounters with wildlife, weather conditions, and other hazards of outdoor recreation. I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen, as a condition of participating in activities and staying at Camp on the Bayou.

Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Camp on the Bayou, its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, volunteers, and partners (collectively “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising from or related to my participation in camping activities, use of facilities, or presence on the property, including any injury, illness, death, or property damage that may occur.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from:

• My own actions or omissions;

• Any damage I cause to Camp on the Bayou property, facilities, or equipment;

• Any injury or damage caused to myself, my guests, or my personal property during my stay.

Property Damage

I acknowledge that I am financially responsible for any damage to the property, facilities, or equipment caused by myself, my guests, or my pets. Camp on the Bayou reserves the right to charge my payment method on file or otherwise seek compensation for such damages.

Medical & Emergency Situations

I understand that Camp on the Bayou does not provide medical personnel or emergency services. In the event of an emergency, I am solely responsible for seeking medical assistance and assume all related costs.

Acknowledgment

I have read this Release of Liability & Waiver Agreement and fully understand its terms.
